At Maguire Comprehensive Dentistry, our team consists of dental hygienists, dental assistants, and front desk staff who enjoy building relationships and exceeding patient expectations. We regularly participate in continuing education programs to not only refine our skills but also deliver the best customer service and treatment in the area. Melissa, Front Desk
Melissa has well over a decade of experience in the dental field, and she has spent several of those years right here with our Maguire Comprehensive Dentistry team. Her favorite part of her career is how her patients feel like a part of her extended family—she loves hearing about their kids, travels, and life in general! Melissa is a graduate of FGCU and has always been in a front desk/office manager role throughout her career.
Originally from Orlando, Melissa and her husband have been married for 10 years and have two of the most adorable fur-babies on the planet. In her free time, she loves to read, spend quality time with her family and friends, and go shopping. An interesting fact about Melissa is that she was one of three adopted children!
Becky, Front Desk
Becky is a seasoned front desk professional with over 35 years of experience in dental management and patient care. She joined Maguire Comprehensive Dentistry in 2022 and loves getting to know patients, their travels, families, and even their furry friends. Becky is passionate about creating a warm, welcoming environment for everyone who walks through the door.
She earned her degree in Business and Marketing from Georgia State University and is originally from Virginia. Becky has been married to her husband, Stan, for 34 years, and they have two daughters who are both Physician Assistants. They also have two miniature longhaired dapple dachshunds named Vienna and Link.
Outside of work, Becky enjoys traveling, gardening, interior design, cooking, and going to concerts. A fun fact about her is that she met her husband at her brother’s wedding, since her brother married Stan’s sister!
Lauren, Dental Hygienist
Lauren is an experienced dental hygienist who has been at Maguire Comprehensive Dentistry since 2021. Her favorite part of her career is her patients, who she has gotten to know incredibly well over the years. She always looks forward to seeing them and catching up about what’s been going on in their lives, and she enjoys working with the best team! Lauren completed her dental hygienist training at the University of Florida, where she earned her bachelor's degree. She has also completed advanced training in nitrous oxide and anesthesia, as well as expanded functions.
Originally from Orlando, Lauren loves being able to work alongside her dad, who also shares her passion for teeth and helping people! Her husband also shares her same passion! Whenever she isn’t at the office, you can find Lauren reading, gardening, walking along the West Orange Trail, cooking and baking, and spending time with her husband and son. An interesting fact about Lauren is that she tries to read a book a week and is always look for good book recommendations!
Marianela, Registered Dental Hygienist
Marianela is a dedicated registered dental hygienist with a strong passion for patient care and community service. She joined Maguire Comprehensive Dentistry after earning her dental hygiene license from Valencia College in Gainesville, Florida. She loves building meaningful relationships with patients while helping improve their overall health and well-being. Originally from Argentina, Marianela was raised in Long Island, New York, before moving to Florida in 2013. She is married to her high school sweetheart, who proudly serves in the military, and together they have two wonderful sons. As a family, they enjoy traveling, spending weekends at the soccer field, and cheering on their favorite team, Orlando City Soccer. Outside of work, Marianela stays active by hiking and running and is currently continuing her college education to grow professionally. She believes in lifelong learning and brings compassion, dedication, and integrity to everything she does; both in the office and in the community.
Kristine, Expanded Functions Dental Assistant
Kristine brings over three decades of experience to our team and has been at Maguire Comprehensive Dentistry for the last decade. Her favorite part of being a dental assistant is having a chance to interact with a variety of people and being able to help them with their unique dental needs. Kristine attended Bellevue Community College as well as the University of Washington, and she has her expanded functions certification, Florida Radiology certification, and has worked in a variety of general and specialty dental offices throughout her career.
Originally from Seattle, Washington, Kristine lives with her husband, Ron, their adult autistic son, and their two dogs and two cats. Whenever she isn’t at the practice, you can find her outside doing wildlife photography, birding, reading a good book, playing trivia, and building Lego flowers. She also loves going to the mountains and playing in the snow! An interesting fact about Kristine is that she has made money as a street juggler!
Andrea, Certified Dental Assistant
With a decade of experience in the dental field, Andrea has been a key member of our team at Maguire Comprehensive Dentistry for the past several years. She completed the Orange Technical College Dental Assisting Program and has worked for specialty offices in the past. Her favorite part about her career is being able to work alongside great coworkers.
Andrea’s mother and father are from Puerto Rico and being a healthcare worker seems to run in the family! Her father is an internal medicine physician, her mother is a nurse, and her older brother is a radiologist. In her free time, Andrea likes to play Pokémon Go, go to the gym, and try new restaurants. A fun fact about Andrea is that she loves all cats!
Allyson, Dental Assistant
Allyson brings a warm, welcoming energy to Maguire Comprehensive Dentistry and loves getting to know the patients and their families. She especially enjoys helping patients feel at ease—turning nervous first visits into positive experiences. Originally from southwest Indiana, Allyson has lived all over the Midwest before making Florida home with her husband and two daughters. Outside the office, she enjoys visiting family, cheering on her favorite sports teams, going to concerts, and spending time with her cats.
