Dr. Erik Holz has been a long-time resident of Central Florida and is proud to have the opportunity to practice general dentistry in Ocoee. He’s passionate about helping his patients achieve and maintain healthy, happy smiles throughout their lives and believes in achieving every patient’s goals with the least amount of dentistry in a safe, comfortable environment. Why Did You Decide
to Become a Dentist?


Dr. Erik Holz is a general dentist and longstanding Orlando resident. He grew up in Windermere and is a proud alumnus of Dr. Phillips High School's Visual and Performing Arts program with a focus on sculpture and ceramics. He completed his undergraduate studies at Syracuse University with a Bachelor of Architecture. Wanting to help people more directly, while still utilizing his artistic hand skills, Dr. Holz went back to school to pursue a future in dentistry. Dr. Holz attended the University of Central Florida to earn his science prerequisites and ultimately graduated from the University of Florida College of Dentistry with a Doctor of Dental Medicine.

Where Did You
Study Dentistry?


Following dental school Dr. Holz spent two years completing an Advanced Education in General Dentistry Residency through the University of Florida's program in St. Petersburg, with a focus on advanced restorative treatment, implantology, endodontics, laser dentistry, Invisalign, and CAD/CAM. Dr. Holz believes in achieving the functional and esthetic goals of each individual patient with the least amount of dentistry necessary, in a safe, comfortable environment.

Dr. Holz is a member of the American Dental Association, the Florida Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Holz is a strong proponent of continuing education and is committed to providing patients with the latest research in dental care. Dr. Holz is certified in oral sedation, nitrous oxide sedation, and basic cardiac life support.

Outside of the Dental Office,
What Do You Like to Do?

When he is not in the office Dr. Holz can be found at the gym or around Central Florida scuba diving for prehistoric teeth. Dr. Holz has also spent his free time as a Courtesy Clinical Assistant Professor for the University of Florida College of Dentistry, helping shape future dentists with direct patient care.
